Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to Him with songs of praise!
Psalm 95:1-2

Vychodna Dolina is a group of Rusyn-born women from St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, who perform the folk songs and spiritual hymns sung by their parents and grandparents. Founded in the late 1980s by Stephanie Salony, the members are from the Rusyn villages of Jarabina, Kamienka, and Litmanova, in Slovakia. Dressed in traditional costumes, the group has appeared throughout the Tri-State area, as well as in Slovakia, at ethnic, cultural, and religious events. Their goal is to preserve the rich musical and spiritual heritage of their ancestors, share the beautiful harmonies with new audiences, and instill their cultural traditions in future generations.
It is with great pride that Vychodna Dolina brings to you the beautiful hymns of the Carpatho-Rusyns. Many of these hymns are slowly disappearing. Let us not forget them, and let’s keep them alive in our hearts, in our lives, and in our churches.
